Focus and Scope

Tekstur (Jurnal Arsitektur), published twice a year on April and October by Architecture Department of Institut Teknologi Adhi Tama Surabaya.

This journal is one of publication media or collection of scientific article about Architecture and Design:

• Architecture Design and Planning, include: technology in architectural design based on architectural science and art ; development of industrial needed and local wisdom / genius loci, human resources, climate, social-culture, environment potential, development of science and technology and the needs in society.
• Historical and Architecture critics and theory, include: Architecture evolution in Indonesia and all around the world; philosophy and design principles, morphology and typology of architecture evolution from the classic architecture, modern, and contemporary architecture; examine the trends that occur in the development of architecture; impact of environment, culture and genius loci on Architecture and design
• Structure and Architectural science, include: structural system of a building and construction in any type of building; configuration of structural system, science, utility system and another mechanical electrical system in building or site to optimize the building performance
• Urban and Settlement, include: the planning and the concept of residential and urban environmental problems solving; history and development of concepts and problems of settlements and urban areas ; resources to build settlement and elements of housing arrangements ; housing procurement system and properties finance.

Selected text will be published in pdf format. Namun dalam hal ini, Jurnal Tekstur has a maximum publication quota of 12 manuscripts each number and it has two volumes each year.
