Author Guidelines
WRITING GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS
- The manuscript is the author's original work which is a dissemination of the results of research or community service and has never been published in other media.
- Manuscripts must be prepared according to the points in the submission preparation checklist.
- The manuscript is written according to the ADIPATI Journal template which can be downloaded here.
- The manuscript is written in Indonesian; the abstract section is written in English and Indonesian; minimum length of manuscript 6 and maximum 8 pages; A4 paper size; borders/margins using mirror margins top 3.0 cm, bottom: 2.5 cm, inside: 2.25 cm, and outside: 2 cm; font: Garamond; program: Microsoft Word 2010 (.docx).
- The systematics of the manuscript are as follows: title, author's name, name of study program and agency (affiliation) and complete address of the agency, English abstract, Indonesian abstract, contents of the manuscript consist of introduction, implementation method, results and discussion, and conclusion, remarks thank you, and bibliography.
- Manuscript must be prepared and has to meet the similarity check requirements with a maximum permitted similarity index of 20% (by Turnitin).
- Manuscript writing procedure:
- The title is typed single spaced, capital letters at the beginning of the word, size 18; normal; bold; and a maximum of 15 words.
- Author's name (written without using a title), written sequentially and marked with the author's name, the name of the institution/department and the address of the institution/campus; typed 1 space; upright letters; normal; size 12
- Abstract in English typed with 1 space; italic; size 10. Equipped with 3-6 keywords.
- Abstracts in Indonesian are typed with 1 space in 1 column; upright letters; normal size 9. Equipped with 3-6 keywords.
- The contents of the manuscript are typed 1 space in 1 column; upright letters; size 11 and the distance between the title/subtitle and the contents of the manuscript is given after 6 pt spacing.
- The bibliography is arranged in alphabetical order by the last name of the first author (ref. APA), the reference presentation structure begins with: author's name, year of publication, book title (italicized), city of publisher, publisher's name, year of publication. The presentation structure for reference journals begins with: author's name , year of publication , article title , journal name (italicized), volume , edition (normal edition) page number (print normal), and doi link (if any).
- Example of reference presentation: Dwicahyani, A. R., Novianarenti, E., Radityaningrum, A. D., & Ningsih, E. (2020). Identification of Obstacles and Formulation of Waste Bank Management Strategies in Simojawar, Surabaya. - Citations are done by writing the last names of the first and second authors and the year of publication separated by a "," (comma). If the number of authors is more than two, then the quotations of the names of the second, third and so on authors are written with the abbreviation "et al." Example of citations: ... (Dwicahyani, et al., 2020).
- Table presentation is done by removing the column dividing lines. Table captions are placed above the table by giving a capital letter at the beginning of each word (except conjunctions) and placed in the middle (center alignment).
- Figure presentation is written in high resolution format (300 dpi). Image captions are placed below the image by providing a capital letter at the beginning of the sentence and placed in the middle (center alignment).
- Equation presentation is written in mathematical equation format using the Ms feature. Word, namely Insert à Object à Microsoft Equation 3.0 and/or Insert à Equation. Each equation is placed in the center (center alignment) and given the equation number in the order it appears in the text in brackets "()".

- The managing editor has the right to change the format of the manuscript as long as it does not change the contents of the manuscript.
- Submission of manuscripts to the Editorial Team is carried out in soft copy form (.docx file) via the OJS portal https://ejurnal.itats.ac.id/adipati/about/submissions.
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor)
- The content of the manuscript is the result of community service activities and/or dissemination of research results that focus on community empowerment.
- The manuscript has been prepared according to the Jurnal ADIPATI Template written in a Microsoft Word document (.DOCX).
- The manuscript consists of a minimum of 6 pages and a maximum of 8 pages.
- References totaling at least 5 or more from the latest literature from the last 10 years. If possible, reference URLs (especially those linking to the DOI system) should be included.
- The manuscript has followed the citation and bibliography writing style and reference model as stated in the Writing Guidelines and Jurnal ADIPATI Template.
- Manuscripts must use citation tools such as Mendeley, Zotero, or other similar softwares.
- If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
