Pemanfaatan Pit Lake Sebagai Program Pasca Tambang
Abstract
Pit lake merupakan akhir dari suatu kegiatan pertambangan. seperti danau alami, pit lake juga menampilkan keberagaman yang sangat besar. Saat meninjau pit lake yang akan digunakan sebagai program pascatambang, diperlukan dipertimbangan dari berbagai aspek terkait seperti perencanaan pascatambang, efek penurunan permukaan tambang dan kualitas air. Pada saat tambang tidak beroperasional, diperlukan studi teknis terperinci tentang berbagai aspek badan air yang dibuat dengan mempertimbangkan morfometri, geologi, hidrologi, kualitas air (geo-kimia), laju pengisian, dan biologi. Setelah pascatambang Pit lake dapat dimanfaatkan sebgai tempat wisata air, perikanan, persedian air, habitat satwa liar dan pembangkit listrik tenaga air. Pengelolaan dan pengembangan pit lake diperlukan sebagai penunjang program pascatambang bagi perusahaan sehingga dapat bermanfaat juga bagi masyarakat setelah berakhirnya kegiatan pertambangan.
