Abstract

Queues affect the speed of activities to get efficient time. A queue is a situation where a group of people who want to receive service must wait in a certain line before receiving service. Queues can be found in everyday life, usually at public facilities and services, one of which is the Community Health Centre. Fast and efficient health services are an important aspect in supporting community welfare. This research was conducted at the Ciranjang Inpatient Health Centre UPTD to analyse the performance of the polyclinic registration counter queue using Arena 14.0 software. Observation and interview methods were used to collect supporting data and determine the factors that influence system performance in research. This research uses a quantitative approach, the data used is in the form of numbers that can be calculated, namely arrival time, service time and queue time. The times chosen in the research were the busiest times for services, namely Mondays and Wednesdays. The research results show that the polyclinic registration counter applies the General Service Discipline (GR) queuing discipline with a multiple line queuing model (M/M/2):(GD/∞/∞) or Multiple Channel Query System. Based on the Arena 14.0 simulation results, the level of busyness and resource scheduling on server 1 was 46% and on server 2 16%, indicating that the performance of the polyclinic registration counter queue was not too busy serving registrants.
