Pengaruh Variasi Komposisi Octan Booster Dan Bahan Bakar Terhadap Perfomance Dan Gas Buang Pada Sepeda Motor 4 Tak

Abstract

Fuel addictives are used as anti-knocking agents due to incomplete combustion in the combustion chamber, and this can increase octane. The transportation sector produces exhaust emissions, and this is the biggest cause of air pollution. Factors that affect exhaust emissions include fuel type, vehicle type, and vehicle age. The method used was an experimental method that uses different fuel variations and variations of gr-fuel booster in the fuel tank. Measurements were made on exhaust emissions and engine performance (power and torque). The motorcycle used was a 110cc Vario. The researcher used octane boosters for performance. Exhaust emissions on a 4-stroke motorcycle using dynodes, gas analyzer, and fuel consumption. Based on the experiments that have been carried out, the researcher got the results that a fuel mixture of 1 litter with 15ml octane booster made the power increase to 12.59 HP from Rpm 8200. The largest torque was produced with a fuel mixture of 15ml, which was worth 7.97 NM. The best fuel consumption with a fuel mixture of 20 ml and the best exhaust emissions with 10 ml produced HC 87ppm. The best CO with a 10ml fuel mixture was 1.29%, and CO2 was 4.1% with idle rotation generating 2000 rpm.
