Turnover Pekerja Konstruksi Pada Pelaksanaan Proyek Gedung di Surabaya
Abstract
The desire to move construction workers to other projects is an early signal of job turnover on building construction projects. Factors influencing worker turnover on construction projects can affect project performance in terms of time, quality, and cost. Limited time, cost and quality, and turnover problems are severe problems in construction projects. This research aims to determine the factors that cause construction worker turnover. The research method uses a survey method by collecting data through questionnaires. Sampling as respondents used the purposive probability sampling method. The research respondents were craftsmen and workers, totaling 40 people. The analysis used is survival analysis. The variables in this research are age, work environment, leadership, job satisfaction, work stress, and wage system. The results of this research are the length of work based on the age variable that the age group > 30 years can last up to 9 months, and those aged 20 - 30 years can last up to 7 months with the average education level of workers being junior high school. Leadership variables, job satisfaction, work stress, and wage systems do not affect the length of service and worker turnover. In contrast, work environment variables affect the size of work and worker turnover.
