Abstract

Sandstone is one of the sedimentary rocks that often becomes a reservoir because of its ability to be hydrocarbons caused by the porosity and permeability of the sandstone. This study aims to observe the diagenesis process that occurs in the sandstone of the Papan Berupang Formation (Tomp) located in Tanjung Village, Kec. Ulu Rawas. South Sumatra. The method used in this research is literature study, field observation, and studio analysis with observations. Diagenesis processes occur in the form of Compaction, Cementation, and Forming of Autigenic Minerals. Based on the research conducted, the diagenesis regime that occurs in the study area occurs from the Eogenesis to Telogenesis regime.
