Abstract

Geosite as a tourist area destination, Kampung Makimi and surrounding Nabire Papua in order to support economic development (economic development) considering geotourism is part of the creative economy. Novelty/Advantage/Importance of Research Literature review of novelty variables, namely geosite and conservation to find out how the influence of the relationship and its interrelationships, which in addition to the influence of relationships and interrelationships with each other, research is also related to other factors such as social society, culture and of course the community's economy naturally. The benefit of research for the community is that it has an impact as a tourist area and also as a conservation area. The geology of the study area is composed of lithology of serpentinite rock units which are the oldest rock units then younger deposited on top of claystone units. On top of it, the conglomerate rock unit is deposited and then it is deposited on it again and is the youngest unit, namely reef limestone. The structures in the research area are joint and fault structures. The Makimi Village geosites include; Lagari landscape, Serpentinite rock fragments of the Blue Pond, Saban tributaries that form the Blue Pond, Caves on the Nangaiwa River, Waterfalls in the form of Swimming Pools, Conglomerate layered on the Tobo River.
