Studi Eksperimental Pengaruh Panjang Penyangga Magnet pada Getaran Batang dengan Eddy Current Tuned Mass Damper

Abstract

Getaran dengan amplitudo berlebih bersifat destruktif dan perlu direduksi. Pada penelitian ini, batang kantilever utama dieksitasi sehingga bergetar. Salah satu teknik peredam getaran yang diaplikasikan adalah dengan menggunakan Eddy Current Tuned Mass Damper (ECTMD). Batang kantilever tambahan diberikan untuk menyangga magnet dengan variasi panjang 100 mm, 150 mm, 200 mm. Arus Eddy ditimbulkan dengan menambah pelat tembaga di batang kantilever utama. Respon peralihan maksimal dan amplitudo respon tunak diperoleh. Batang kantilever penyangga magnet ini semakin panjang menyebabkan respon peralihan maksimal semakin kecil dan amplitudo respon tunak semakin kecil. Akibatnya, penurunan respon dibandingkan tanpa ECTMD juga semakin naik dan transmissibilitas semakin turun.
